World Earth day has been celebrated every year since 1970 on April 22 to take pledge for the protection and conservation of Earth. Billions of people celebrate Earth day across the globe including 190 nations to preserve and make our Earth green and clean. We have completed 50 years of celebration of Earth day this year.
The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action. Nations across the globe are fighting over clean air and issues like climate change for the past couple of years. But Every year there are some agreements and announcements being made for the conservation of our planet. Our planet is unique in the solar system in many ways as it has its own Ecosystem and Biosphere. Some major steps taken to celebrate Earth day are as follows-
1).Tech giants like Google, Intel , IBM and Cisco are making announcements in order to combat the Carbon dioxide emissions and heat production from ICT centers.
2). Google became the first tech company to use 100% renewable energy consumption. It uses all energy using only renewable resources like wind and solar. Now it has developed a procedure to recycle carbon to use it as a source of energy. Google has future plans for reducing the emissions of carbon on grid level.

LESSONS OF LIFE
As we know, the world is drastically suffering from COVID 19 pandemic, so Forbes has listed some lessons from the pandemic on World Earth day to cherish for our future.
Lesson 1
Humans are probably the most intelligent species on our planet and so their activities have a huge and drastic impact on the healthy ecosystem of Earth.
Humans are leaving their footprints permanently on the Earth. But Coronavirus is telling us that nature is more powerful than ever irrespective of human intelligence. All the hustle and bustle had come down like a silent breeze of the river while humans were locked down in their homes for nearly two or more months in different parts of the world.
NASA reports suggested a huge fall in the levels of pollution agents like carbon dioxide over the globe.
Pandemic shows a truth ‘we know’ but never accepts that human beings have affected the Biosphere of Earth. Here comes the law of cycle, today nature is playing it’s part of reviving the natural biosphere of Earth when all human activities have come to pause due the pandemic.

Pollution-monitoring satellites detected significant decreases in nitrogen dioxide (NO2) over China from 1 January to 25 February 2020.
Lesson 2
Science is our friend not enemy. It gives humanity a near outlook but recent couple of years were not that much nice for the science community. They are being questioned. But Nature knows it’s way of making people know the truth.
Coronavirus is a way which tells us that science is an asset for human beings which God gifted them.
Today doctors and researchers are playing an inevitable role in combating the Covid 19. Without doctors, people cannot survive this threat.

Lesson 3-
Everyone can contribute to the Earth.
“The biggest Covid-19 pandemic is hunger, starvation, fear and uncertainty. It is not the virus itself.”
We can overcome the fear of Coronavirus only by overcoming it. Every helping hand is beneficial and important in the distress time of a pandemic.
“The best way to save the world is to see every plant and every animal you see as the last plant and the last animal in the world!”
