May 25th ,Washington — NASA and SpaceX authorities said after a last pre-dispatch audit that they had
no significant issues about the upcoming Demo-2 commercial crew launch past one over which they
have no control: the weather.
NASA’s astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will be sent to the International Space Station on the
first manned trip of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft on May 27th
.They concluded by saying that the
forecast for dispatch day was improving and the following forecast will extend to a 60% possibility of
satisfactory climate.
If climate or different issues scour the May 27th launch attempt, the next favourable days for launch will
be May 30th and 31st
.
